Permits filed with the City and County of Denver show that the downtown location of Elway’s Steakhouse will be remodeled. The upscale eatery is inside The Ritz-Carlton, at 1881 Curtis Street.

According to documents, the interior renovation plans include work that will “provide additional private dining option, rejuvenate the bar and refurbish the restaurant’s finishes, fixtures and furnishings.” The construction valuation of the job is listed at $970,000.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and serves about 600 meals a day, 5% of which are carry-out orders, records show. It has a 4,770-square-foot dining space that seats 235 patrons. There is no outside patio space at this Elway’s.

designONE Studio is listed as the design firm on documents, and Burnham Nationwide was the applicant on the permits. Work is scheduled to begin in January and be completed sometime in March.
