Las Vegas’s own Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop has been seeing rapid expansion, with new locations in development all over the country. Meanwhile, however, the brand has not forgotten about its hometown. Another new Capriotti’s is coming soon to the valley.

Licensing paperwork submitted by Vegas Cap 10, LLC shows the new Capriotti’s opening at 3720 E Sunset Rd, Suite 111.

What Now reached out on Friday to franchisee Corey Melendrez, who, together with Thomas Gourley, has been launching new locations of sister brands Capriotti’s and Wing Zone. Melendrez said it was still early to discuss the new location, but that construction is already underway with an opening expected for January or February.

“We’re doing the buildout now,” Melendrez said.

Capriotti’s serves subs like the Capastrami (hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, and coleslaw), the American Wagyu Cheese Steak (ultra premium American Wagyu beef from Snake River Farms, melted white American cheese, fried onions, and hot or sweet peppers), and the Bobbie (homemade turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo). The chain’s sandwiches include Homemade Turkey and Homemade Tuna.
