A new bar appears to be in the works just south of the intersection between North Miami Avenue and Northeast 73rd Street. A plan review submitted recently by Mojangles Hospitality LLC shows a new concept called Bar Bucce opening at 7220 N Miami Ave.

One of the co-owners behind Mojangles Hospitality LLC is chef Michael Pirolo, the culinary force behind Macchialina, a Miami Beach restaurant serving a variety of pasta dishes and other Italian entrees at 820 Alton Rd. It’s described in one Google review as “a bastion of rustic Italian cuisine, a place where the authenticity of the food speaks to the soul of Italy.”

What Now reached out to Michael Pirolo on Thursday to inquire about plans for Bar Bucce. Pirolo was not immediately available to discuss the new project. As a result, no information is available yet on Bar Bucce’s food and drink offerings.

The North Miami Avenue location is situated just north of First Haitian Church of God, across the street from Miami Restaurant Supplies.

What Now is awaiting more information on Bar Bucce, so stay tuned for possible future updates. In the meantime, check out Macchialina in Miami Beach and follow @macchialina on Instagram.
