According to an article from Chicago Food Magazine, Lawrence Fish Market will open a second location in the Bridgeport/Chinatown area at 234 W 31st Street.

A representative of Lawrence Fish Market was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Chicago’s request.

According to the article, “The new location, set to open in late October, will offer new dining options, including a ramen bar, alongside their sushi, maki, and sashimi offerings.”

“With fish sourced from markets across the globe, Lawrence Fish Market emphasizes regional offerings while importing other ingredients directly from Japan. The sushi menu offers a wide range of options, including specialty rolls like the Caterpillar Roll, featuring broiled eel, avocado, and cucumber with tempura crunch and unagi sauce, and the Godzilla Roll, packed with shrimp tempura, avocado, and spicy mayo topped with broiled eel and crunch.”

“The Fire Cracker Roll combines shrimp tempura, cream cheese, and avocado with chopped salmon, while the Miami Roll is deep-fried with salmon, unagi, and cream cheese. For sashimi, the menu features Uni (Sea Urchin), Amaebi (Sweet Shrimp), and O-Toro (Very Fatty Tuna).”

“This new Bridgeport/Chinatown location will offer a wider variety of menu items. The expanded menu includes an Izakaya-style ramen selection, made with in-house noodles and featuring signature dishes like pork-based ramen. The menu will soon expand further with the addition of boba and poke bowls.”
