It looks like a spot has been selected for Midlothian’s planned Salata. According to a recent project filing, the fast-casual brand will open at Harvest Hill Town Center.

The buildout is expected to wrap up on the 2,400-square-foot space at 320 Harvest Hill Dr., Bldg. A in Midlothian in February 2024. The brand announced earlier this year that Rachel Proctor, Mayor of DeSoto, will develop the new Salata storefront in Midlothian, as well as locations in Waxahachie and in DeSoto.

Salata offers guests fully customizable, built-to-order salads and wraps, soups, and organic teas and lemonades. The menu offers five salad bases, more than 50 toppings, and 11 house-made, gluten-free dressings. Fresh bread and bento boxes are also available.

If you’re wanting to add something sweet to the meal, cookies are also on the menu. On September 19, Salata will offer for its second fall season the Pumpkin Puff Cookie featuring macadamia nuts, white chocolate, and cinnamon.

Houston-based Salata was founded in 2005 and now has more than 90 corporate-owned and franchise locations in Texas, Georgia, Southern California, Louisiana, and North Carolina.
