Ice cream lovers can soon find new flavors at Ked’s Ice Cream‘s upcoming location at 3517 Windhaven Pkwy Suite 300. Franchise owner, Venkatasai Pulluri, says doors will open by December of this year, or early January 2024 at the latest.

“We love ice cream, especially my wife, and are excited to open soon!” Pulluri told What Now Dallas. “We wanted this franchise so we could keep that love going and even offer some unique tastes and flavors to the people of Lewisville. We hope this will become a spot where they can hang out, bring their kids, and spend some time.”

Pulluri said the menu will also feature waffles, bubble tea, and crepes to widen the appeal and options for future patrons. In addition to Ked’s traditional classics like lemon custard, mud pie and amaretto, plans to incorporate flavors reflective of his Indian heritage.

According to the website, Ked’s was originally founded in Plano, Texas in 2009 by Hussain Kedwaii. Then called “Old Town Creamery”, the shop continues to expand through franchises in Frisco, and now, Lewisville. Explore the full menu and history at kedsicecream.com
