A new Texas Roadhouse location is in the works at the southwest quadrant of Avondale-Haslet Road and US-287.
Texas Roadhouse senior director of public relations, Travis Doster, told What Now Dallas that street numbers have not yet been assigned but the 7,300-square-foot space will include a restaurant and bar.
Known for quality steaks and all-you-can-eat rolls, the restaurant is part of Texas Roadhouse, Inc. In addition to 661 Texas Roadhouse restaurants, the company also operates 41 Bubba’s 33 locations and seven Jaggers restaurants.
The website lays out the restaurant’s rich history, starting in Clarksville, Indiana in 1993 when Kent Taylor opened the first location. Even with it’s large-scale growth, the restaurant has maintained a fun, down-home atmosphere. This laid-back environment is largely inspired by the founder’s good friend, Willie Nelson. It is no surprise then that many locations honor the country music star with “Willie’s Corner” and the occasional “Willie Braids” worn by staff.
