Pearl Dynasty Chinese Cuisine is excited for this growth opportunity as they relocate to 13582 University Blvd., Suite 400 in Sugar Land’s bustling Trader Joe’s Shopping Center.
Owner Lisa Shum shared her enthusiasm for the move by telling What Now Houston, “Pearl Dynasty has made an exciting decision to relocate from our prior location of 20 years to the center of Sugar Land. We’re growing along with other new businesses and developments at University Blvd and the 59/69 Freeway, offering our traditional Cantonese cuisine with a flare of ingredients that we grew up eating as a child with our families and friends.”
Pearl Dynasty has been a cornerstone of the community since 2000, serving iconic dishes that have been passed down for over 45 years. Their signature offerings like Egg Foo Young, Mandarin Chicken (War Su Gai), and Moo Goo Gai Pan remain fan favorites, alongside other standout dishes such as Peking Duck, Steak Kew, and Jalapeno Salt Pepper Shrimp. “Our culinary Cantonese cuisine where East meets West brings our family tradition cooking to your table,” Shum explained.
The new Sugar Land location promises a modern, welcoming environment perfect for family gatherings and casual dining. Shum noted that the restaurant’s mission is not just to serve delicious food but to provide a space where friends and families can create cherished memories.
With two locally owned locations in Sugar Land and Pearland, Pearl Dynasty continues to uphold its mom-and-pop roots while evolving to meet the needs of its community. Loyal patrons and newcomers should keep an eye out for the grand opening of their new home soon.
The move is scheduled for completion by February or March 2025 and marks a significant milestone for the restaurant known for its authentic Cantonese flavors and family recipes.
