According to a recently submitted permit application, a new Thai eatery is coming to Berkeley.

Taking over a spot at 2228 San Pablo Avenue, Rose La Moon will land near establishments such as Afghan Burrito, Berkeley Self Storage, and Serene & Lily Outlet.

“We’re hoping to have something more authentic tasting,” shares the concept’s owner, Shine Sarintra. He adds, “We want to offer something that reminds us more of what we’ve had in Thailand.”

Sarintra tells What Now San Francisco that Rose La Moon will be a self-serve, fast-casual concept that’s focused on Thai desserts. While it will prioritize to-go orders, a few tables will be available for patrons looking to dine in.

Additionally, the filing discloses that Rosa la Moon will serve beer and wine and operate between 7 am and 11 pm after opening later this spring.

Stay tuned for updates.
