Plans are in the works to bring two more Daiso Japan stores to the Las Vegas area. The first Las Vegas Daiso opened its doors at 7285 Arroyo Crossing Pkwy. in late December.

A second location is being planned for Sahara Avenue in Downtown Summerlin to open sometime this year. A third location in Henderson is also expected sometime in 2022.

The discount store offers gift items, Asian snacks, electronics, housewares, and more. Origami paper, calligraphy tools, sensu fans, and other traditional Japanese items are available. Most items are typically priced at just over one-dollar.

The Japanese variety and value store has more than 3,600 stores in Japan and first opened in the U.S. in 2005. Daiso prides itself on “the quality, variety, and uniqueness of our wide-ranging product line,” according to the company website.
