Not far south of the intersection between South Rainbow Boulevard and Blue Diamond Road, an upcoming cigar lounge is preparing to offer Las Vegas a new combination of attractions, all of which are well-known to the city, but which are not currently available all in one place. SMoK Cigar Lounge will offer a sizable cigar selection, plus a full menu of tapas and shareables, a full bar, and gaming. SMoK will open this fall in a shopping center that is currently under construction at 9250 S Rainbow Blvd.
“My keystones, my pillars, are a beautiful lounge that’s relatively smoke free, with great drinks, fair prices, and a great selection,” owner Brad Mark told What Now in a phone conversation on Tuesday. Mark is a longtime Vegas resident with a long history working in entertainment as an owner of eighteen Pole Position Raceway locations. “This is a fun retirement passion of mine.”
Mark’s relationship with cigars began with his family: “My wife was born and raised in Cuba, and her grandmother used to get me a good cigar from this priest who would travel back and forth. It ignited a passion for the last twenty years or so.”
SMoK will open in about 4,000 square feet of space in the upcoming shopping center near Rainbow and Blue Diamond. It will feature, Mark says, the largest humidor in the state of Nevada, offering small plates like Chicken Satay and Shrimp Skewers, along with a full bar and gaming.
SMoK Cigar Lounge is expected to open in October 2023. In the meantime, you stay up to date by visiting the lounge’s website.
