The retail center on the southeast corner of South Tenaya Way and Arroyo Crossing Parkway is the future home of Las Vegas’s second outpost of Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream. The new location will open at 7345 Arroyo Crossing Parkway.
“Every location makes their own ice cream fresh, daily,” franchisee James LeDuc told What Now in a phone conversation on Tuesday. LeDuc is opening the restaurant in partnership with Carly LeDuc, his wife.
Said homemade ice cream comes in a wide variety of flavors. The selection varies by location, but a few examples include Bananas Foster (banana rum ice cream with caramel ripple), Blue Monster (blue vanilla ice cream with Oreo® cookies and Nestle® Chocolate Chip cookies), and Graham Central Station (graham ice cream with graham cracker ripple and chocolate-covered crunchies).
The Arroyo Crossing Parkway location is one of several food and drink locations clustered together, including Jason’s Deli, Chili’s Grill & Bar, and Los Cucos Mexican Cafe. No official opening date is available yet, but LeDuc said the location will have an Opening Soon sign posted outside before long.
What’s next for the brand after opening on Arroyo Crossing?
“We’re currently looking for a second location out in Henderson,” LeDuc said of the franchisee couple’s plans. “We’re definitely focused in on Henderson.”
