Egypt-themed casino resort Luxor Hotel & Casino is the future home of Play Playground, a new immersive playground experience (featuring two bars) from Play Social, according to recent coverage from Focus Gaming News.
“We are thrilled to be launching our groundbreaking anchor attraction at Luxor,” Play Social CEO Brad Albright says in the Focus GN coverage. “Play Playground is a multi-dimensional, dynamic world that stimulates all the senses and facilitates social interaction through bespoke social games, appealing to all ages during the day and adults at night.”
Designed by Paul Bishop, the concept will offer an experience open to guests of all ages by day, and to adults only by night. The space will feature two bars, twenty “larger-than-life immersive games and attractions,” VIP mezzanines, and private events spaces.
Luxor Hotel & Casino is currently home to food and beverage attractions like Diablo’s Cantina, popular East Coast hangout Public House, and TENDER Steakhouse + Lounge. Play Playground will build on an already developed entertainment roster.
“Play Playground is such a natural fit for Luxor,” said Luxor President & COO Chuck Bowling. “Our guests seek fun and adventure throughout their Las Vegas visits and will find in Play a place for their inner child to let loose. With so much happening at the south end of The Strip, we are thrilled to welcome Jen, Brad, and the Play Playground team to our family.”
What Now reached out to Chuck Bowling to inquire further about Play Playground on Wednesday. Bowling was not immediately available for comment.
