Fuzzy’s Taco Shop announced this week that it has signed a development agreement that will bring 20 locations to Nevada over the next seven years. Franchisee Mark Justice, a Las Vegas resident and longtime IHOP franchisee through his restaurant management company Mr. Stax, Inc., is behind the expansive push.
“As a Las Vegas resident I feel very excited to bring Fuzzy’s Taco Shop to the community. The versatility of the concept appeals to guests from young families to third shift workers and everyone in between,” Justice said in a press release.
Fuzzy’s menu features tacos, burritos, quesadillas, burrito bowls, and more. They come with proteins like Tempura Mahi, Fajita Chicken, Carnitas, and Grilled Shrimp. There are breakfast choices like the Breakfast Taco Plate and Huevos Rancheros, plus Mexican Plates like the Fajita Beef Plate and the Enchilada Plate.
“Mark is a highly qualified and experienced restaurant operator, and we are pleased to welcome him to the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop family,” Paul Damico, president of Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, said in the press release. “His experience with successfully operating and scaling restaurant brands is exactly what we are looking for in a franchisee, and we know he will maintain the integrity of the brand and Fuzzy’s culture.”
What Now reached out to Mark Justice on Friday to inquire about plans for the first of these locations, which is to open in Vegas. Justice said the search is currently on for several locations, but none have been secured yet.
