Pizza looks to be in the works for West Arby Avenue and South Jones Boulevard in the southwest area of Las Vegas. Licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County by LV Petroleum LLC indicates a new Sbarro location planned for 7120 S Jones Boulevard.

Founded by Carmelo and Gennaro Sbarro in 1956 and Brooklyn, Sbarro has grown to include 630 locations in 28 countries (“You’re welcome world,” says the brand’s website’s About page). The chain currently has eight locations in Las Vegas.

Famously served by the slice, Sbarro’s pizza varieties include New York 4-Cheese White, NY Pepperoni and Jalapeno, NY Supremo, NY Veggie, and more. The brand also offers Stromboli in varieties like Pepperoni, Sausage and Bacon, and Spinach, along with wings and a selection of salads. There are pasta dishes like Baked Ziti and Spaghetti with Meatballs, and Extras include Garlic Cheesy Bread and Breadsticks.

The location at Jones and Arby would join restaurants like Don Chuy Mexican Grill and Taco Bell, opening across Arby Avenue from Jones Liquor.
