After years of work, Baguette Cafe—which has two locations, in Vegas and Henderson—is preparing to launch its long-awaited Downtown Las Vegas location. Following that opening, the brand’s original location will move down Sunset Road, joining Jay Dapper’s also-long-awaited mixed-use development The Bend, owner Olivier Brouillet told What Now on Friday.

“We don’t have an exact date, but Downtown is opening in June,” said Brouillet. “The Bend location will open at the end of the summer.”

Brouillet isn’t simply giving up the brand’s first location on Sunset with the move to The Bend, however: that location will transform into another concept that has yet to be revealed (so stay tuned!).

“These will be a completely different market,” said Brouillet, citing the move away from office-saturated areas. “I really love Downtown, and can’t wait for that. And the Bend is going to be gorgeous. It’s just such a good group of restaurant owners, with a lot of homegrown concepts.”

The new stores will feature a midcentury modern look with high ceilings, offering Baguette Cafe’s broad menu, featuring sandwiches, omelets & toasts, quiches, and bowls—along with cafe beverages, smoothies, juices, and more.
