Founded in 2016 by Sean and Sarah Wilson, Chip Cookies has 25 locations across the United States, and word has been out for a while that the brand has its Nevada location in the works. That location, which will open in Silverado Ranch Plaza soon, represents a first move into the franchising space for entrepreneur Adam Bayles and his family.
“It’s the first franchise our family has ever opened,” Bayles told What Now on Thursday. “We’ve always been entrepreneurs, though.”
Family is involved in the story from the beginning, says Bayles, who got to know the brand while visiting his grandmother with his sister.
“We would always pit stop at Chip Cookies and share it with our grandma. We’d really go out of our way for that. And we thought, ‘We can do that too!’”
Chip’s cookies come in varieties like OG (a warm gourmet chocolate chip cookie made with real butter and high quality chocolate chips), Biscoff (a warm gourmet cookie made with biscoff cookies, white chocolate chips and stuffed with cookie butter), and Sugar Chip (our signature sugar cookie topped with our homemade cream cheese frosting).
There are also rotating flavors, along with Chip’s “cookie bar” setup, which allows guests to customize their own cookies. The space at Silverado Ranch Plaza will encompass about 1000 square feet, and while this location will not feature inside seating, Bayles says he envisions seating in future locations.
“We plan on bringing more to Las Vegas after getting this one up and running and smoothly.”
And where will that next location be? Bayles says the search is still on for a second site.
