Pelicana Chicken, a Korea-based fried chicken shop with 40 years in the industry, is coming soon to Irvine. As of press time, their website doesn’t currently state where in Irvine they’re headed, but What Now Orange County has obtained real estate intel indicating that they’ll be roosting at 4970 Irvine Blvd. in Northwood Town Center.

Pelicana Chicken proudly states that the “chicken revolution is here!” Since 1982, they’ve been serving up fresh and delicious fried chicken prepared exactly the way it was made at their first shop in Daejeon, South Korea. Putting quality, taste, and freshness at the top of their priorities, Pelicana Chicken uses new oil daily and cooks their chicken with a high attention to detail and care.

Customers can rest assured that they are receiving the best product possible, and with a variety of delicious sauces and chicken selections to choose from, there is always something that will satisfy their cravings. Pelicana Chicken opened its West Coast flagship in Buena Park, followed by stores in Cupertino, Artesia, Rancho Cucamonga and Downey.

This would be the second Orange County location for the brand with stores in Los Angeles, City of Industry and San Diego on the way as well. Representatives for Pelicana Chicken could not be reached for comment.
