Baby’s Badass Burgers — a playfully unique and entertaining mobile burger concept hailing from LA — will eventually open at the Lake Forest Local Kitchens micro food hall (23621 El Toro Road Suite C), according to the company website.

The burger joint helmed by New York restaurateur Erica Cohen and Hollywood event planner Lori Barbera also has stationery stores in Vista (CoLab Public House), Huntington Beach (Locals Kitchen HB), and Palo Alto (coming soon to a Local Kitchens branch as well).

Featured on Shark Tank back in 2013 (Season 4, Episode 24), Baby’s Badass Burgers started solely as a food truck concept looking for a $250,000 investment for a brick-and-mortar. Unfortunately, the Sharks disapproved of the duo’s desire to “leave behind a proven food-truck strategy for the risky dream of opening a real restaurant,” and none of the Sharks invested.

However, that didn’t stop the BBB team. Instead, Cohen and Barbera expanded their food truck model across LA, SD, and OC, and now have a handful of permanent outposts for their bright-pink, babe-centric biz.

An opening date for the Lake Forest Local Kitchens is currently undetermined.
