The Bruery, a renowned craft brewery in Placentia, is planning to enhance its customer experience with a permanent outdoor drinking and dining area, records show. City records show a project in the works at the 717 Dunn Way location.

This proposed expansion aims to transform part of an existing parking lot into a usable outdoor space for patrons to enjoy a beer or some food. The application is currently listed as “under administrative review”.

Founded by Master Cicerone Patrick Rue, The Bruery is celebrated for its barrel-aged, experimental ales. The company produces over 100 beers annually, distributing them across 28 states.

The business has a membership club that offers 10% off at the tasting room. Hours of operation at The Bruery are noon to 10 PM Monday through Thursday, noon to 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and noon to 8 PM on Sundays
