Hunny Beez will soon be bringing its Filipino-fusion options to 1434 SW Park Avenue in the Downtown area, confirmed by its co-owner Andrew Wegman.
“We’re so excited to be in Portland, and we love this area. It’s refreshing to see the greenery of the park right in front of the restaurant. Our hope is to be able to officially open in mid-July, but likely will be a bit later, depending on final touches needed to be made,” Wegman told What Now Portland.
Originally established at the beginning of this year with three successful locations, Hunny Beez is known for its mouthwatering Beez Wings. Building on this foundation, the new Portland location will feature an expanded menu, introducing delectable rice bowl additions, flavorful noodles, and refreshing Filipino-style drinks, to name a few.
At Hunny Beez, their mission is to infuse American grilled comfort food with irresistible Filipino flavors. By taking beloved classics and incorporating Filipino-inspired ingredients and techniques, they offer their own innovative dining experience. While the Portland location will have its own individual twist that will not include the traditional burgers and BBQ options, guests can look forward to indulging in marinated pork, slowly smoked to perfection, as well as marinated chicken and grain-fed Angus beef, charbroiled to capture that familiar backyard barbecue taste at their separate locations.
With decades of culinary expertise, the team at Hunny Beez brings professionalism and passion to their food preparation. Their commitment to sourcing the highest quality produce and meats ensures that each dish is crafted with care and attention to detail. Recognizing the importance of sustainability, Hunny Beez takes pride in using certified compostable packaging, exemplifying its dedication to preserving and cherishing the environment, according to the company website.
