Working the late nights? Starbucks has been in the works for a 24-hour drive-through at 5060 Madison Ave. The plan for the new location was first announced in September and the leasing has been completed. As of December 13, the project remains in pre-application status and conditions have been issued to be fulfilled before receiving approval.
The 24-hour drive-through will occupy a 1,325 sqft vacant site on the corner of Madison Avenue and Auburn Boulevard. The property was last occupied by Chinese Vietnamese restaurant Pho Bac Hoa Viet, which closed after a fire in May 2022. The lot has since been vacant.
Plans and permits for the new location, known as Starbucks at Walnut, were filed by Atlanta-based architecture and engineering firm GreenbergFarrow. Site improvements for the new Starbucks include new driveways, parking areas with 28 parking spaces, and enhanced landscapes.
By the time of this coverage, a representative from Starbucks was not available for comments.
