Day Dreamer, a new neighborhood bar, will soon be opening in east Austin, according to a recent report by Eater. The establishment will be located at 1708 East Sixth Street, in what seems to be a former residential building, near Suerte and Via 313.

The bar will be run by a dream-team of Austin bar figures such as Jeremy Murray of High Noon and Kitty Cohen’s, Nathan Hill of High Noon, Frazier’s, and White Horse, Jonathan Faulker of Kitty Cohen’s, Arjav Ezekiel of Birdie’s, and Jessica Tantillo of Kitty Cohen’s. The team will take on the ambitious task of modeling this bar after their favorites across the world, with establishment in Singapore, London, and New York City serving as inspiration, according to the report.

According to Eater, their menu will center classic and house cocktails, made with “a fancy-pants Crawler Champion Shaker, which is operated through a hand-cranker.” The establishment will serve wine and champagne as well.

What Now Austin reached out to Parter Arjav Ezekiel to inquire for more detailed information about Day Dreamer’s potential offerings and opening dates, but he was not able to provide comment.
