Clothes for every moment and movement are heading to South Austin. According to public filings, Beyond Yoga plans to open a new store at 1303 South Congress Avenue in Austin, in the space previously occupied by Lucky Robot.
Beyond Yoga offers a wide range of premium activewear and maternity apparel, with inclusive sizing ranging from XXS to 4X. The company offers leggings, tops, sports bras, dresses, outerwear, as well as maternity and toddler collections.
What Now Austin reached out to Beyond Yoga representatives to inquire about an opening timeline but did not receive a response before publication. Permitting records list a projected completion date of May 2027.
The South Congress location would mark Beyond Yoga’s continued brick-and-mortar expansion, which What Now has tracked in other markets, including planned stores in Manhattan Beach and at the Outlets at San Clemente in California.
Founded in Los Angeles in 2005 by Michelle Wahler and Jodi Guber Brufsky, Beyond Yoga has grown into a body-inclusive activewear brand known for its signature Spacedye fabric. Levi Strauss & Co. acquired the brand in 2021, and it now operates under CEO Nancy Green, the former CEO of Athleta.
No opening date or additional details for the South Congress store have been confirmed yet.
