Dance With Me, the nationally recognized ballroom dance studio brand, is preparing to relocate its Austin location to The Domain. According to public filings, the studio plans to open at 3220 Amy Donovan Plaza, Suite 128.
What Now Austin spoke to founder Aleksandr Chmerkovskiy, who oversees the brand’s Austin operations, said an official opening is planned for February 2027, though earlier opening by December is possible if approvals move quickly.
The studio has been operating in the Domain area for nine years, and the new address keeps it in a familiar market. “We have a history with the Domain. Good people, a very diverse society and diverse clientele. It’s a great area, very secure and safe, and exactly what we need for our business,” Chmerkovskiy told What Now Austin.
Dance With Me is a ballroom dance studio co-founded by professional dancers Maksim and Val Chmerkovskiy, known for their appearances on Dancing with the Stars. The brand has operated for more than 20 years and has welcomed thousands of students through its doors.
Beyond Austin, Dance With Me operates studios in Fort Worth at The Shops at Clearfork and in Southlake, among other Texas markets.
Chmerkovskiy confirmed Dance With Me plans to register as a franchise company by the end of 2026 and expects group expansion in 2027, with Texas as a primary target market. “Texas is one of the main, major markets for us,” he told What Now Austin.
