Prominent Wimberley Restaurateurs Plan Tex-Mex Concept

Public records project construction to end by late 2023, suggesting a 2024 opening for the Mekulys’ newest concept.

Michael and Morgan Mekuly, owners of popular Wimberley eateries Community Pizza & Beer Garden and The Let Go, are setting plans in motion for a new Tex-Mex concept, according to recent public records. The restaurant, listed as Nada Mucho Tex-Mex Heaven, is set to be built out at 13710 Ranch Road 12, near The Carvery.

The public records examined by What Now Austin state that the that construction will consist of “renovation of an existing 2,263 sf building. Interior new work includes a commercial kitchen, 4 restrooms , dining area and bar space.”

Further specifying specs, the document states that “site work to be completed includes a crushed granite back yard, concrete pads at exterior doors, and a cooler.”

What Now Austin reached out to Michael Mekuly to inquire about the project, potential menu profile, and projected opening dates, but he was not immediately available for comment. Estimates listed on the public records project construction to end by late 2023, suggesting a 2024 opening for the Mekulys’ newest concept.
