Buc-Ee’s, the popular statewide travel station and eatery, will soon be renovating its Bastrop location, according to a recent filing with the State of Texas.

According to the filing, the construction will cover 1,700 square feet, cost around $600,000, and cover varied elements such as “millwork, electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment and short wall construction.”

Known for its wide-ranging selection of serious food offerings, such as pastrami reuben, tacos, bar-b-q, and kolaches. Apart from its sit-down hot food selection, the brand has an astounding variety of beef jerkies, fruit, ice cream, and a range of desserts.

Until the Buc-Ees concludes its construction, readers and partners can visit a nearer location across the Texas highway system.
