Wetzel’s Pretzels will soon be opening a Barton Creek Square location, according to recent public records.
“We want to open soon as possible,” franchisee Narayan Mahato tells What Now Austin. “We are hoping to open before June.”
Mahato briefly explains that this will be his second Wetzel’s Pretzels after opening in Lakeline Mall.
Wetzel’s pretzels come in flavor profiles like Wetzel’s Original, Sinful Cinnamon, and Almond Crunch. Cheese Pretzels come in varieties like Cheese Meltdown, Pepperoni Twist, and Jalapeno Cheese Melt. The menu also features pretzel-wrapped hotdogs called Pretzel Dogs and bite-sized pretzels called Wetzel Bits.
No exact opening date has been announced.
