During their stay, guests at Caesars Atlantic City will have new options for cultural experiences when Japanese-themed lifestyle brand Nobu Hospitality moves in. The company is partnering with Caesars Entertainment to bring their luxury hotel and restaurant chain to Caesars Atlantic City, at 2100 Pacific Ave., next year.
Nobu Hotel Atlantic City will upgrade and rebrand several floors of tower hotel rooms and suites in Caesars as the Nobu Hotel and open up a Nobu restaurant within Caesars casino. The hotel and restaurant are expected to open in the summer of 2022. The project is a part of Caesar Entertainment’s $400 million investment in Atlantic City over the next three years. Caesar Entertainment, which seeks to bring new life to Atlantic City’s boardwalk, will also upgrade the interior design of their casino floor.
“The debut of Nobu Hotel Atlantic City at Caesars Atlantic City will revitalize the famed Atlantic City Boardwalk and raise the hospitality bar by introducing world-class experiences to the market,” a Caesars press release says.
Nobu, known for its sushi and seafood dishes, was founded in 1994 by actor Robert De Niro, celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and film producer Meir Teper. According to Philly Voice, the company has expanded to include more than 45 Japanese restaurants worldwide, with 13 hotels and 10 other properties in development. The first Nobu Hotel opened in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in 2013.
“Our relationship with Nobu has been an unparalleled success in Las Vegas, and as we continue to invest there and in New Orleans and Atlantic City, we felt it was the perfect opportunity to deepen and expand that relationship,” Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment, said in the release. “Nobu’s sophisticated elegance is the perfect complement to the multi-million dollar renovation projects we are developing in all three cities, all of which are fast becoming the nation’s top modern sports, gaming and entertainment destinations.”
