The yet-to-be-named rooftop restaurant at Easton’s Commodore building, located at 100 Northampton St, acquired a liquor license this past Wednesday, Sep 28, according to co-owner Anthony Trapani.
Trapani declined to comment on when the restaurant might open.
The liquor license was transferred from JT’s Nazareth Diner Inc. to Grill 3503 LLC, the restaurant’s parent company.
To date, the restaurant still doesn’t have a name, with Trapani telling What Now Philadelphia that they’ve landed on a few options, only to be turned down when it came to trademarking. Nevertheless, the concept will be classic, upscale American cuisine in a natural ambiance that capitalizes on its seventh-floor views of the Delaware River.
The Trapani family owns and operates two other restaurants in the area – Grille 3501 in Allentown and ZEST bar+grille in Bethlehem.
