The Philadelphia-based ramen and poke bowl concept, Nori Poke Bowl, will be opening a second outpost around spring 2023 in the storefront formerly occupied by Capriotti’s at Exton’s Fairfield Place shopping center, according to owner Harry Chi.
“Nori Poke Bowl has been a great success in northeast Philadelphia, and we are very excited to announce our new expansion to Exton and to be a part of the community,” Chi tells What Now Philadelphia.
The first Nori Poke Bowl opened a little over a year ago and quickly garnered a devout following with its signature menu items such as the Cupid, Big Bang, Caribbean, and Bansai poke bowls, as well as a “freestyle,” create your own option. There’s also an extensive menu of ramen, salads, and appetizers.
Chi is becoming something of an accomplished restaurateur in the region, with a portfolio that includes the Nori concept, a hibachi steakhouse in Reading, PA, and a hibachi fast food brand in Union Town, PA.
Kevin Lahn of Waters Retail Group, a development, management, leasing, and brokerage firm based in southeast Pennsylvania, represented the landlord in the transaction.
