New Jersey is getting a new breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot. First Watch has signed the lease for its first Jersey Shore location, reports local media outlet Patch.

The corporate-run franchise will be moving into the Brick Commons shopping center, at the former site of the Santander Bank. Urban Edge Properties received approval to begin developing the lot located at 644 Route 70 &, Chambers Bridge Road in 2020. However the pad has not been built yet.

First Watch is still in the very early stages of development, making it impossible to name an official opening date yet. The restaurant still needs to be erected, so it is likely the establishment won’t open until late 2023 or early 2024.

Speaking about the Jersey Shore location, First Watch’s vice president of operations, Robert Botelho states “Ever since we opened the doors to our first New Jersey restaurant in Union four years ago, First Watch has seen just how responsive customers are to our fresh take on breakfast, brunch and lunch, so we cannot wait to bring that experience to more of our neighbors in Brick in the coming year.”

First Watch currently operates more than 470 restaurants spread over 29 states. The award-winning establishment focuses on fresh, made-to-order meals.

First Watch’s new Brick customers can look forward to enjoying delicious dishes like avocado toast, smoked salmon eggs benedict, farm stand breakfast tacos and lemon ricotta pancakes.
