Mount Laurel Mexican fans will soon have a fresh option to satisfy their burrito cravings. Chipotle Mexican Grill has signed on to open a new location at the Larchmont Commons Shopping Center, reports local media outlet 42 Freeway.

Equity Retail Brokers announced the arrival of the beloved assembly-line style Mexican chain. While the new location will be in the same center and general vicinity as the Larchmont Commons Shopping Center, Chipotle will occupy its own, stand-alone building, located at 3109 Route 38.

An opening timeline is not yet available. However, construction has not yet begun on the property, suggesting that the eatery will be open by mid-2024 at the earliest.

The new Chipotle will take over a facility formerly occupied by a Burger King, necessitating considerable renovations.

Once opened, the Chipotle will become a neighbor to Aldi, Planet Fitness, Starbucks, and an upcoming Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

Since opening its first store in Denver in 1993, Chipotle has become a force to be reckoned with. The chain has 3,249 locations as of September 2023.

Customers immediately fell in love with the brand’s custom constructed meals. Guests choose between burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos, and salads. They then choose which rice, bean, protein, and add-ins they’d like, while staff assembles the meal to order.
