A popular western store will soon be providing customers with more than chaps and hats. The owners of Pilesgrove’s Cowtown Cowboy Outfitters will soon be broadening their reach and opening Bullhide Brewery, reports local media outlet 42 Freeway.

The brewery will be an extension of the existing store at 607 9th Street. The space will provide accommodations for around 75 thirsty patrons. Founders Suzanne and Travis are hoping to open the brewery in summer of 2024.

The space requires some renovation and reworking, however Bullhide has already installed brewery equipment, preparing the establishment to make signature beers and ales.

Bullhide Brewery, which will be attached to Cowtown Cowboy Outfitters, will not have a kitchen, but is working on ensuring some variety of food will be available for hungry patrons. The establishment has been family owned for more than 50 years. While fans of craft beer, Travis and Suzanne are not, themselves, brewers, and are seeking out an experienced brewer for their establishment.
