A popular Lehigh Valley bakery’s macarons have outgrown their current kitchen. Let Them Eat Cake, celebrated for its unique and elegant interpretations of sweet favorites, is moving into a bigger space later this year, reports local media outlet 69 News.
The Regency-inspired shop will be pulling up stakes from its current location at 143 South Main Street to its new home at 112 South Main Street early this summer.
Owner Taylor Romero, side-by-side with her mother Channon Smyly, opened Let Them Eat Cake about a year ago. Romero spoke with What Now Philadelphia in May of 2023 about bringing her carefully crafted, delectable treats to Nazareth, stating “Our vision is to create a space where people feel fancy. Where they see the color in the world. We want to add a taste of French regency to daily life.”
While the new shop is a mere one-minute walk from Let Them Eat Cake’s present location, the move will provide the bakery with many new ways to serve and delight patrons. A post on the company’s official Facebook page explains that once the crew, helmed by Romero, move into the new storefront, Let Them Eat Cake will begin offering classes, private parties and events, and even high tea, all while serving the same delicious treats the area has come to know and love.
