A long-vacant Jersey storefront is getting a new resident this year, one that specializes in delicious sushi and refined cocktails. Kooma Asian Fusion & Sushi Bar is opening a third greater Philadelphia location in Cherry Hill this summer, reports local media outlet WPST.
The elegant concept will be taking over 2000 NJ-38 Ste. 1025, the space vacated by California Pizza Kitchen in 2019. Kooma has not announced a precise opening date yet, however the restaurant anticipates opening its doors this August.
Future regulars unfamiliar with the Kooma experience can look forward to an elegant and sophisticated meal. Owner Scott Kim explains the concept’s objective, saying “We will offer high-end fine dining.”
As the name suggests, Kooma Asian Fusion & Sushi Bar serves a range of Asian cuisine, including Chinese, Korean, and Japanese fare. Customers can choose from a vast menu that includes delicious meals, from bibimaps, to sushi, to stir fries, and sashimi.
The Cherry Hill location will be Kooma’s first New Jersey home. The eatery currently has restaurants in West Chester and King of Prussia.
