Ocean Township is preparing to trade out hot slices for Bloomin’ Onions. Outback Steakhouse has a new location planned for the former home of Nino’s Coal Fired Pizza, according to a post on the popular Facebook page What’s Going There in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

The popular chain will be moving into a lot at the intersection of NJ-35 and W. Park Avenue. The Ocean Township Outback Steakhouse will follow the brand’s new, smaller model, occupying 4,936 square feet. The space should be able to accommodate around 187 guests.

An opening timeline is not currently available and the location is not currently listed on Outback’s website.

Though the new design will feature updated back-of-house and dining room layouts, the menu will feature all the dishes fans of the concept have come to know and love, including steaks, of course, ribs, burgers, and Outback’s signature dish, the Bloomin’ Onion.

Outback Steakhouse is no stranger to the Garden State. The chain currently has 19 restaurants in New Jersey.
