What Now Orlando confirmed with owner Richard Gonzalez on Wednesday that he will bring another location of Slidders Pizza to the Orlando area. This will be the brand’s third location.
Gonzalez said that the location is currently under construction. Reports have been made that they will open in the summer, but Gonzalez stated that they could be ready by late April.
The new location will appear at 400 N Orlando Avenue in the recently constructed 400 North apartment complex, alongside Pita Mediterranean Grill, according to QSR. Slidders will also be across the street from a Grain & Berry location and China Wah On.
Slidders has been serving pizza for about a decade, and they have operated with a bake-only policy. They elect to bake their pastas, wings and fries along with their pizza. Recorded on their website is the mantra: “Crispy on the outside tender in the inside, we think no more frying needed.”
The pizzeria also offers other staples of Italian cuisine, like calzones and strombolis.
