City Beautiful Cafe, a new restaurant by AJ Campofiore, is soon moving into Orlando City Hall, according to a recent report in The Orlando Business Journal. The restaurant will take up the first-floor, 1,912-square-foot space at 400 S Orange Ave, previously home to 4 Rivers Smokehouse.

Citing an Orlando City Commission agenda item, The Business Journal describes the restaurant as offering “wider range of breakfast and lunch choices at City Hall”, adding that “A sample menu for the restaurant includes breakfast sandwiches, wraps, burgers, sliders and other sandwiches.”

The Business Journal reports that “If approved, the lease would last five years and start May 1, with the additional potential for two additional terms of two years each,” adding that the lease demands that the restaurant will be operational by August 1st, signaling for a late summer opening.

Readers unfamiliar with Campofiore’s food & beverage ventures may refer to Bem Bom, a popluar Portuguese and Mexican eatery whose kitchen was led by the late chef Chico Mendoça, located at 3101 Corrine Drive, also in Orlando.

What Now Orlando reached out to Mr. Campofiore to follow up on the existing reporting, but he was not immediately available for comment.
