Delicias Conchita, a locally-owned neveria (ice cream shop) and taqueria, will soon be coming to Melbourne, according to recent public records. The establishment will be located at 2447 N Wickham Road, within suite 114, in the Lake Washington Square shopping center.

Co-owner Maria Martinez tells What Now Orlando that customer can expect classic tacos such as pastor and birria, alongside artisanal, homemade ice cream with flavors such as oreo, strawberry, and hazelnut.

“It will be my first restaurant,” Martinez proudly shares, noting that she will be joining her brothers in the venture, two seasoned restaurateurs with plenty of experience.

In closing, Martinez shows confidence in the restaurant’s future as it will fill a hole in Melbourne’s growing food & beverage landscape.

“We chose this location as it’s close to where I live and there are no Mexican-style ice cream shops near where I am.”

While no opening date is yet set, Martinez and company hope to clear permitting in the near future.
