Cantonese Food Truckers to Debut Brick and Mortar

The Laus will be bringing over 35 years of experience in Cantonese cuisine from New York City's Chinatown.

Cantonese barbecue and dumpling food truck Kai Kai will soon be opening its debut brick and mortar at 1110 E. Colonial Drive, according to recent reporting in Orlando Weekly.

Local readers may recognize Jerry and Jackie Lau’s food truck from its appearance various venues around town, or their presence at  the iFresh supermarket.

The Laus will be bringing over 35 years of experience in Cantonese cuisine from New York City’s Chinatown and serve roast duck, crispy pork, assorted dim sum items, freshly made dumplings, Cantonese rice and noodle dishes and more from their stall inside Mills Market, Weekly states. 

Soon, Kai Kai will join other upcoming establishments at the Tung brothers’ Mills Market such as Zaru, Unigiri, Banh Mi Boy and a Japanese whisky bar to the 10,000-square-foot space.
