After 17 years of working in the Asian food business, “TJ” Jiriyasin is bringing the “first” Soba Noodle restaurant to Fort Lauderdale at 5975 N Federal Highway Suite 115 in mid-September, 2022, the restaurateur Tuesday told What Now Miami in a telephone interview.
While the restaurant will function in the style of a fast food restaurant — you order at the register and the food is then brought out — TJ states that this will be a healthy option. TJ highlights using the buckwheat noodle, along with bringing a Japanese chef from NY to help elevate the food.
Appetizers like Tako Yaki (fried octopus) and an Asian fusion “Soba Aji Chicken Bao Bun” will also be offered. Drinks will include beer, wine, sake, and soft drinks.
Tj has vast experience in Asian food, specifically in Thailand where he’s from. The TJ Group is TJ’s parent business that he started 17 years ago. He has three other restaurants. One named Thai House, and two locations for his sushi restaurant, Tee-Jay Thai Sushi, both in Fort Lauderdale.
TJ has brought his spin on Asian food to the Florida market, and while he hopes to open more than one Soba Asian Noodles, his priority is in the Fort Lauderdale area.
As Soba Noodles continues in its process their website will update.
