Mazza Mediterranean Cuisine has been serving up tasty, healthful Greek and Lebanese fare in Pembroke Pines for fifteen years this month. It offers favorites like kabobs, chicken and beef shawarma, pita sandwiches, and more—leaving guests, as owner Faris Bushnaq puts it, “85% full. You feel good, not overly stuffed. The perfect portion.”
And now the Mazza brand is about to branch out with a new, elevated fast-casual concept: Mazza Kitchen, opening in Fort Lauderdale.
“It’s going to be an exciting concept,” Bushnaq told What Now Miami on Thursday. “Very different, and very healthy.”
Mazza Kitchen will build on the proven fast casual build-your-own approach. Guests will customize their bowl, pita, or salad, choosing from dips, greens, grains, and proteins, all topped off with guests’ choice of dressing.
The centerpiece of the restaurant will be its charcoal grill, imported from Spain. The result will be a tasty, healthful fast casual meal for guests who aren’t looking to break the bank, with the price point of a $10.77 base, plus some up-charges for premium add-ons.
Like Mazza Mediterranean Cuisine, which currently delivers to three counties, Mazza Kitchen will also be geared towards servicing delivery orders, Bushnaq said.
Mazza Kitchen is expected to open soon, so keep an eye out for some quick, affordable Mediterranean eats headed to Fort Lauderdale.
