A new restaurant plans to reimagine the hot dog in North Miami. TKL Miami, which promises to offer “the hot dog in unique and varied recipes” will open at 12485 NE Sixth Court, on the southeast corner of the intersection with Northeast 125th Street.

“We’ll be offering all kinds of hot dogs: 100% beef, chicken, turkey, fish, shrimp, lobster, and more,” owner James Naili told What Now on Monday.

Alongside this wide range of hot dog varieties, which Naili says will take a create-your-own approach, guests will be able to choose from sides like French Fries, Mac & Cheese, Cheddar Nachos, and Rice & Beans.

“We’ve been working to open this restaurant since about three years ago,” Naili said. “We want to create something completely new.”

After launching in the Northeast Sixth Court location, Naili says the plan is to expand and eventually launch franchising. The TKL brand may just be the next big thing out of South Florida.
