We previously let you know that Nautical Bowls was about to make its Arizona debut and now we have a better idea about when that’s supposed to happen. What Now Phoenix caught up with franchisee Kristi Browne, who tells us that the Scottsdale store will be the first to open this fall.
She also has plans to open a store in Tempe and Gilbert, both of which will be newly constructed. The Tempe location will be around the northwest corner of Rural Road and University Drive near ASU. It will likely follow the opening in Scottsdale.
The Gilbert location will be at Mercy Road and South Val Vista Drive off Loop 202. This store is scheduled to open in Q1 of 2023. Browne, who is from the Midwest, has family here in the Valley and knows that Nautical Bowls will be a hit, especially during the near year-round heat.
Having tried Nautical Bowls for the first time at their flagship in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Browne makes a point to seek out açai bowls on her travels just to see what else is out there. “I try all the competition everywhere I go and no place has ever beat Nautical Bowls,” Browne says. “They’re really good for you. I love that there are no refined sugars; it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, plant-based. It’s a great healthy option and nobody does it better”
From açai to pitaya, Nautical Bowls makes the best superfood bowls on the market. With seven bases to choose from, plus 17 types of dry toppings, granola, fresh fruit, drizzles and protein, the possibilities are endless. Nautical Bowls even equips each of their stores with a special machine to make the peanut and almond butters on site, ensuring you get the freshest possible product.
Customize your own bowl or choose from 10 of their signature bowls. Browne’s favorite is The Nauti Bowl, which has a base of açai and pitaya and is topped with granola, banana, cacao nibs, and peanut butter. Discover what yours will be at nauticalbowls.com.
