Coming soon to Mesa is a new neighborhood kitchen and bar called Point 22 Tavern. The restaurant is under construction at 9248 E. Cadence Parkway at the incoming Arrival at Cadence commercial center.

Progress is being made on Point 22 Tavern, which just applied for its liquor license, in addition to framework having recently gone up at the construction site on the southeast corner of Ray and Ellsworth Roads. Co-owner Robert Webb, who is opening Point 22 Tavern with wife  Brittany, tells What Now Phoenix that they anticipate opening by the end of this year.

The upscale kitchen and bar is one of the most highly anticipated businesses coming to Arrival at Cadence. Promising fresh-made cooking and good drinks, Point 22 Tavern’s sample menus include an impressive breakfast menu of pancakes, sandwiches, burritos and omelets, while fun stuff like cheese curds, shrimp cocktail, plus an impressive list of burgers and sandwiches await us for lunch and dinner.

In opening Point 22 Tavern, Robert is fulfilling a lifelong dream of opening his own restaurant, according to Cadence at Gateway. He and Brittany decided to answer a call for non-chain local eateries in the Southeast Valley when Thompson Thrift Retail Group, the developers behind Arrival at Cadence, had space available at the incoming commercial center.

The master planned community will bring resort-style pools, parks, fitness centers, and more to the area. Arrival at Cadence will be the community’s commercial hub and home to acollection of local retailers, restaurants and bars, such as Cork Crush, that are sure to bring new life to Mesa.
