Cook & Craft, a restaurant made with Valley locals in mind, is coming soon to Gilbert. Calling themselves “a locals eatery,” Cook & Craft will be at 2472 S. Recker Road as a new tenant at Verde at Cooley Station

What Now Phoenix has obtained a building permit recently issued by the city of Gilbert, which suggests that this new location is soon to begin construction. Based on the timing of this source, we suspect that this new Cook & Craft will open closer to the end of the year. Representatives for the restaurant have not returned requests for comment.

Cook & Craft originated in Scottsdale and recently opened their second restaurant on Phoenix’s High Street. It’s a spot made with everyone and anyone in mind, serving a full menu of Modern American Fare with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. They also have a great selection of local and popular craft beers to wash it all down.

Staying true to their “locals” focus, they make a concerted effort to support local businesses, sourcing from local roasters, distillers, brewers and growers. The open and modern space is meant to encourage hanging out among friends and family.
