Weeknight dinners are about to get a whole lot easier thanks to a new restaurant called Pasta Joint. The take-out spot is under construction at 3050 E. Queen Creek Road in Gilbert, where it will take over the former site of The Egg & I. You may see a banner for Pasta Joint go up soon at this address, according to a recent permit found in public records.
Not much is known yet about this incoming restaurant. Owner Jessy Palmer tells What Now Phoenix that Pasta Joint, of course, will serve pastas such as spaghetti and meatballs, alfredo, plus other classic pasta fare. Their menu is still being fine-tuned, but Palmer says that they will also have items such as meatball subs and cheesy bread.
He adds that they will be a take-out restaurant, so there won’t be any dine-in or outdoor seating. But this is actually good news, especially for busy folks who want something fresh and hearty to eat for lunch and dinner, served at the pace and convenience of your typical quick-service establishment.
An opening is projected for sometime this fall, if all goes according to plan. But if anything, expect to be visiting Pasta Joint before the end of the year. For updates, stay tuned to pastajointaz.com, where additional details will be forthcoming.
