A brand new wine bar called Saint Urban is getting ready to debut in McCormick Ranch, located at 8260 Hayden Road, Suite A-100.

This is the latest concept from Common Ground Culinary, Christopher Collins‘ restaurant group responsible for The Macintosh, Collins Brothers Public House, Grassroots Kitchen & Tap, The Neighborly, Sweet Provisions, and more. The company’s ninth concept is set to move into the former home of Rockefeller within the Mercado at Harden shopping center. Saint Urban, which is named after the patron saint of wine-making, is expected to open in mid-November 2024.

When the new wine bar opens later this year, customers can expect a rotating menu of premium wines that highlight “top Napa Valley producers,” as well as cocktails and Arizona craft beer. As for food, the eatery will offer shareable plates on the all-day menu, featuring everything from truffle shoestring potatoes and charcuterie boards to West Coast oysters and Santa Maria-style Tri-Tip steak. Saint Urban will also have 77 interior seats with booths and another 48 seats outside on the patio with two 8-person communal tables.

“Ever since the pandemic, we all lost parts of ourselves and really missed out on the joy of going out and sharing experiences and meals together,” Collins stated in a press release. “And that’s exactly what Saint Urban honors, by making it both fun and affordable to get together daily for great wine and food with friends. Saint Urban reflects years of hard-earned knowledge serving this particular neighborhood. It’s welcoming and unpretentious, perfect for both romantic dates and also casual hangs with friends.”
