The first brick-and-mortar storefront for Eric Austin Custom is in the works, bringing custom-tailored menswear and ready-to-wear options to Atlanta’s Upper Westside.

After operating out of an office space in Buckhead by appointment only, the time was right to expand to a full retail store, president and CEO Eric Austin said.

“When we open up, it will be my 10-year anniversary of being in menswear,” he told What Now Atlanta. “I’ve been doing it for a decade, so it was a natural progression.”

Born and raised in Atlanta, he developed a passion for menswear, and looking sharp, from several mentors.

“After awhile, it rubbed off on me,” he said. “I fell in love with it and found an actual fashion mentor who had been in the space for a long time who taught me about fine tailoring.”

The new store, which will go by the name Eric Austin, will open at The Works, a mixed-use development in the Upper Westside.

Appointments will be available, and walk-ins are welcome. The brand specializes in custom tailoring, but ready-to-wear options will also be available.

“We’re looking forward to meeting everyone when we open and becoming their go-to spot,” the CEO said.

Eric Austin at The Works is expected to open in January or February 2024.
